Development applications are sometimes complicated by special circumstances usually related to the physical location and details of the subject lands. Development permits and/or approvals are required from certain agencies involved with new development or reconstruction on the Niagara Escarpment, adjacent to water bodies, agricultural operations, roads airports, and railways. Clipsham Limited staff is familiar with the requirements of local agencies such as the Niagara Escarpment Commission, Credit Valley Conservation, Conservation Halton, Grand River Conservation Authority, the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources, Ontario Ministry of the Environment, Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing (Green Belt Plan), Department of Fisheries and Oceans, Ontario Ministry of Transportation, Canadian National, and Transport Canada.
